Green Bambino
Tomorrow morning I have what I hope to be the last meeting about the business plan. All the numbers are in place and look good. Keep your fingers crossed that we'll actually make a decent (read: not huge) profit the very first year! As soon as the business counselor and I decide it's done done, I'll take it to be bound nicely at Kinko's. I'll make several of these really nice copies for bankers and leasing agents, and a few more in folder covers for friends and family.
I hope to be meeting with loan officers in the next two weeks. As soon as the loan looks locked in, I'll start negotiating on the lease. Since I know where I want Green Bambino to be, it's mostly a matter of hammering out details. Then we get to work on making the space look pretty.
I'm amazed that Green Bambino is still on schedule to open in February. I'm starting to get emails from people who Google "cloth diaper oklahoma city" and come across this blog. @green_bambino is starting to spread slowly on Twitter. Word is getting out, and the responses are all positive.
This is the point where I'm starting to get really nervous, but it's a good nervous. I want everything to be just right. Green Bambino will change a lot for our family, but I hope it's all in good ways.
Spread the word about Oklahoma City's only reusable diaper (and more) store - Green Bambino.
