Can anyone give Graham a hand?

It's been a long time and we've been busy...

We got a new fridge: (check out the old one first)

And here's the new one:

We also just spent the weekend putting up new ceiling fans in the bedrooms. This was necessitated by a giant crack in on of the fan blade brackets. Imagine us in bed at 3 a.m. when a fan blade comes flying off the ceiling and whacks us on the head.

Here are the old ones after being taken down. Each of these hung at least 20 inches down from our less than eight foot ceilings:

After much ceiling repair and hassle with the old man's previous fan mountain escapades, here are the new fans (this picture is from the guest room, but both fans are the same). If you remember, the guest room had a big unpainted, torn spot on the ceiling tiles where the old man had glued a piece of linoleum instead of using medallions as we did. I spackled and painted and although it's not perfect, it's close enough.
