How to Boil an Egg

It's way past lunchtime and I'm starving, but I'm waiting for my eggs to warm up before I boil them. I just learned that you're not supposed to boil really cold eggs. I've never really boiled many eggs, so I swallowed my pride and googled "how to boil an egg."

This is the top listing:

Delia's Cookery School

It's really useful!

With my boiled eggs, I'm going to make a Nicoise salad with fresh green beans and steamed potatoes. I may add some tuna.

I can' take it anymore. Time to make lunch, cold eggs or not.

I just made a salade nicoise with tuna, roasted tomato, roasted garlic, kalamata olives, olive oil, and hard-boiled eggs! Really yummy on crusty bread. :)

It may not be "kosher" to boil a cold egg, but I've never known an egg, which was boiled from cold, to be any less tasty than one boiled from room temperature. Dad
