Look at the difference!!! We chose a nutmeg colored stain (whatever that means). Fortunately, it still let some of the red tones of the red oak come through, but isn't orange.

This is my favorite picture. It really does look like a new house! And I *love* the wall color with the floors.
We didn't really know it was still going to be kind of red. We picked a brown color. But we're very happy with it. I can't wait for you to see it in person!
